PWInsider have published a new report on AEW's much-discussed talent interview held prior to Wednesday's Dynamite, where the company used the opportunity to discuss a number of recent hot-button topics.

Contract tampering allegations, rumours of backstage dissent, AEW's new talent relations/coaching structure, and more were all on the docket. Amongst the speakers were CEO and founder Tony Khan, Vice President Pat Buck, wrestler Chris Jericho, and Kenny Omega, who has combined an in-ring and Executive Vice President's role since AEW's inception.

Interestingly, Omega was the "harshest" speaker at the meeting. His words came across as "tough love" to those present, though "heavy-handed" was also used to describe his approach, which was seen by some as Kenny attempting to light a fire under the roster. Others, however, interpreted it differently.

Khan is believed to have been particularly "fired up" during the meeting too.

Kenny returned to AEW last week, teaming with The Young Bucks in a victory over La Faccion Ingobernable. The former World Champion had been away from the promotion since taking time off to heal multiple injuries and health problems in November 2021. Next week, the reformed Elite face United Empire as the World Trios Championship Tournament continues.
