Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay are both believed to be doing fine after wrestling a hard-hitting match at AEW x NJPW Fordibben Door 2023 on Sunday.

The contest had sparked concern online for its bruising mature and myriad spots deemed risky by the internet wrestling community, though Fightful Select reports that "both competitors emerged relatively unscathed."

Omega is understood to have told multiple people that he felt fine after wrestling Ospreay. Per Fightful, the contest was a meticulously planned affair, just like the duo's previous encounter at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Ospreay defeated Omega in a shade under 40 minutes, capturing the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in the process. The result puts the duo at 1-1 in recent singles competition.

The contest was showered with lavish praise as soon as the bell rang, despite the concerns (not all of which would have been expressed in good faith). Fightful states that when they got backstage, Omega and Ospreay enjoyed a standing ovation from their peers, who applauded the clash.

Omega landing on his head from a Tiger Driver '91 was amongst the spots that drew the most attention from concerned voices, though it sounds like he is doing okay.
