Former AEW announcer Kevin Kelly has told Eric Bischoff on the ex-WCW chief's 'Wise Choices' podcast that he plans to take his old employer to court at some point in the future.

Kelly was fired by Tony Khan in March following some controversy on social media. This stemmed from comments fellow commentator Ian Riccaboni had made about Kelly on a Discord server; Kevin claimed those remarks led to him sitting "on the bench". Kelly also said Ian had "libeled him".

Now, the former WWE man plans to sue Tony Khan and his company for the way things were handled. Neither Khan nor Riccaboni have responded to this at time of writing. Presumably, anyone connected to AEW will refrain from doing so publicly until things are sorted out.

Kevin joined All Elite in June 2023, and was quickly installed as the lead play-by-play man on Collision. The veteran announcer did take some flak online during his brief run for forgetting the names of a few AEW stalwarts. Then, he was canned following the X fallout this past March.
