Kevin Steen's Cryptic Tweet Hints At WWE NXT Debut
Will the former ROH Champion make his debut on tonight's NXT Takeover II special?
Tonight is a big night for WWEs developmental territory, NXT. The Takeover: Fatal 4 Way event will be just the third special event broadcast exclusively on the WWE Network. While the Network has had its fair share of critics since its debut, everyone seems to agree that NXT is a great product and thrilling program. Tonight, the developmental territory looks to up the ante with every title on the line. Furthermore, it was already announced that international sensation, Kenta, will be making his debut on NXT programming -- albeit in a non-competitive role. The Japanese superstar was to be introduced to the NXT audience by Nature Boy Ric Flair, however, reports are coming in that Flair has pulled out of the event due to a supposed personal conflict. Still, Kenta is scheduled to make his first official appearance on a WWE program during this evenings Takeover event. Beyond Kenta, rumors are spreading like wildfire that another debut may take place tonight. Adding fuel to the fire, WWEs most recent signee, Kevin Steen, sent out a cryptic tweet last night, simply stating, Tomorrow night Takeover. Because of the rumors of another NXT debut combined with Steens tweet, many fans are hopeful that the former Ring of Honor World Champion will make some sort of appearance on this evenings broadcast. Its frankly impossible to say at this time what will happen during NXT Takeover: Fatal 4 Way. However, if Kevin Steen does make a surprise appearance, its likely that he could become involved physically in some of the proceedings. His long and personal history with Sami Zayn may lead to his involvement in the broadcast's main event, either aiding or hindering the former El Generico. Or perhaps, Steen will make an appearance during Kentas segment and confront the international sensation. Theres only one way to find out what will happen during NXT Takeover: Fatal 4 Way and thats to tune in. Will Kevin Steen make his debut during tonights broadcast, or were there much more innocent intentions behind his tweet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
