Key WWE Star Pulled From Raw
This top WWE star had an advertised Raw appearance "rescheduled" last night.
Kevin Owens was not on last night's episode of WWE Raw as advertised, with the promotion seemingly pulling the former Universal Champion from the broadcast.
The Canadian had been booked in a Money In The Bank qualifying bout against Ezekiel, Elias, or Samson family newcomer Elrod, following a promo KO had cut on last night's Raw. This ended up not happening when announcer Jimmy Smith announced the bout had been "rescheduled" for a future show.
WWE did not provide a reason for the postponement, nor did Smith confirm a new date.
Owens has reacted to the situation on Twitter, calling back to his pre-WrestleMania 38, Texas-hating shtick:-
I didn’t want to go to Texas so I didn’t go.

Although KO was not on Raw at all, Ezekiel appeared in a backstage segment with the returning John Cena, who was there to mark his 20-year anniversary as a professional wrestler. Cena instructed the many-named wrestler to never forget who he is in their brief interaction.
Regardless of when Owens vs. Ezekiel/Elias/Elrod finally takes place, the opportunity to qualify for Money In The Bank 2022 has likely passed them by. The premium live event takes place this Saturday (2 July) - and only one spot remains in the titular men's bout.
