Konnor Is Latest WWE Superstar To Suffer Injury

Ascension member Konnor is the latest WWE Superstar to suffer an injury, after potentially dislocating his jaw at the Superstars tapings on Monday. PWinsider are reporting that the former NXT Tag Team champion's jaw was hurt during Ascension's match with R Truth and Goldust - although they're not quite sure how badly. He joins an injury list that seems to be increasing by the week, after it was revealed that John Cena could miss WrestleMania with a severe shoulder injury that requires surgery. The pair will join the likes of Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Nikki Bella on the shelf - all Superstars who left last year's WrestleMania with gold around their waists. Cursed, much? While Konnor's absence from the ring won't affect our lives in any sort of way due to how badly The Ascension have done since their promotion to the main roster, it further highlights a major problem that is blighting WWE at the moment; or that Vince McMahon is going through a spell of rotten luck... How many more injuries can he afford to have before Mania season gets into full swing? It leaves the creative team in a really tough spot as they are fast running out of players for many spots on the card. There's little doubting that Vince McMahon will be wrapping the likes of Roman Reigns and The New Day up in cotton wool in the build up to the Royal Rumble and beyond. Although, this does give creative a license to blood a fair few new Superstars in the coming weeks...
