Kurt Angle Rejects WWE Offer To Return

Five time TNA World Champion is contracted to the company until May 2014.

Five time TNA World Champion Kurt Angle claims the WWE have approached him about making a return to the company he left in 2006 but he's determined to stick with TNA. A fan asked him on Twitter whether Kurt Angle would be involved in this year's 30-man WWE Royal Rumble and Angle replied;
"Nope! I'm Happy Where I Am. No Rumble for Me!!!! My Loyalty Is With Tna. Wwe Is Knocking On My Door, But I Won't Answer."
The timing of the tweet is interesting. Kurt Angle and Jim Ross had been tweeting each other publically last week with Angle posting the strange message;
"You Will Call My Last Match. Somehow. Love You."
Which would back-up the claim that WWE have offered him a return that Angle has declined. However we should note that Kurt Angle signed a brand new three year contract with TNA on in May of last year which would keep him tied to the company until May 2014. So the chances of WWE signing him anytime soon are extremely unlikely though we do know that the WWE are interested in picking up soon to be expiring TNA contracted wrestlers. Rob Van Dam, whose deal runs out in February, is expected to be high on the list of talent WWE wants to secure this year.
