Whether or not last night's episode of WWE NXT was Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly's last remains to be seen, but the duo partook in what may be interpreted as a "farewell" to the live audience after the show.

Gargano and O'Reilly, who have both been working under WWE contracts due to expire later this month, were joined by Tommaso Ciampa and Shawn Michaels following the broadcast going off the air. WrestlingNews.co note that Gargano was in tears for the duration of this. O'Reilly, meanwhile, spent time shaking hands with fans, signing memorabilia, and even kissing the mat.

It is believed that WWE has made attempts at retaining both O'Reilly and Gargano. Each has been offered a contract extension, though there is currently no word on whether or not either has accepted.

If last night was KOR's last NXT show, he went out the traditional way, putting newcomer Von Wagner over inside a steel cage. Gargano, meanwhile, cut a promo on not knowing what the future holds, though he was attacked by Grayson Waller to close the episode.
