Kylie Rae Is Returning To Wrestling

Former Impact and AEW talent set for an in-ring return after seemingly retiring.

Former All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling star Kylie Rae is returning to professional wrestling. She'll be defending her Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship at the company's Stadium Series show on 5 June against a to-be-determined challenger.

After no-showing Impact's Bound For Glory pay-per-view at the end of October, where she was booked to challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship, Kylie confirmed via her Patreon that she was no longer a wrestler. Of course, that match would instead see the returning Su Yung usurp 'The Virtuosa'.

This isn't the first time Kylie has taken an absence from in-ring activities, as she requested her release from AEW after only one appearance at the inaugural Double or Nothing. Allie ended up taking her place against Leva Bates on the 2019 Fyter Fest pre-show, following which the questions about Rae's status began to bubble.

There's currently no official word on what the reasoning for Kylie's absences were, with The Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez reporting that her Bound For Glory no-show was due to suffering a "non-serious injury". This was later revealed to not be the case.

Due to the nature of the splits, it's expected she'd be welcomed back into both Impact and AEW should she so wish. For now, though, Kylie Rae is back.
