AEW scored a potentially huge signing coup in the shape of Lance Archer yesterday, with the former NJPW bruiser set for an imminent debut.

Wednesday saw the promotion not only announce that they'd signed 'The American Psycho,' but that also he'd debut on next week's Dynamite in Denver, Colorado. They aren't waiting around with this guy.

"I’ve been in the business for almost half of my life, but with AEW, I’m setting my sights on the best chapter of my career so far," said Archer in AEW's official press release. "This company champions the creative, competitive and electrifying environment that I’ve been waiting for my whole career. No matter where I go—no matter who steps in front of me—I’m the one you should be afraid of at AEW."

Tony Khan also had a thing or two to say about his new acquisition: "Lance Archer is explosive, dynamic and unpredictable, making him perfect for AEW. He’s made his mark in every corner of the world. He’s brutal, colorful and will be a factor the minute he steps into the ring."

Archer, the best working big man in the business today, is coming off a breakout year in NJPW, during which he starred in an eyeball-popping G1 Climax run and became IWGP North American Champion. There's nothing to suggest he won't be an awesome addition to the roster.
