This overlooked WWE man still thinks he has a chance of working WrestleMania.

Omos remains "hopeful" he'll bag a spot on the main card over WrestleMania 40 weekend. The towering giant's role on WWE TV has diminished in recent times, but he's been "working every day" to improve in-ring at the company's Performance Center.

The big man told the Battleground Podcast that he'd also love a rematch with Bobby Lashley someday soon. Together, the pair worked fun encounters at both 'Mania 38 and 'Mania Backlash in 2022. In truth, they've also worked extensively against one another on the house show loop away from cameras too.

Omos still fancies locking horns with Lashley regardless.

MVP's old monster hasn't worked on TV since the 2024 Royal Rumble this past January. There, he lasted less than three minutes before being eliminated by main roster newbie Bron Breakker. Before that, you'd have to go back to the SummerSlam Battle Royal for Omos' last on-screen match.

Are brighter days ahead for him? That remains to be seen. Omos did describe WrestleMania as his "biggest goal every year" though. He knows the importance of that weekender, and desperately wants to be a part of it.
