Latest Injury Update On WWE's Dash Wilder

Curtis Axel = honorary member of The Revival for one night only?

Heavy Machinery The Revival

Dave Meltzer is reporting on Figure Four Weekly that injury concerns for The Revival's Dash Wilder may not be as bad as WWE officials first feared.

The tag-team star missed a house show match in Cincinnati, Ohio this past Thursday due to a mystery injury that still hasn't been cleared up. Before The Revival's scheduled three-way tag against Lucha House Party and New Day, Scott Dawson and Dash announced that Wilder's "Jingle Bells" had been hurt and so he wouldn't be able to compete.

B-Team member Curtis Axel stepped in for Wilder as a one-off, and Dash watched the match from ringside in street clothes.

Meltzer claims WWE decided to keep him out of the ring due to "precautionary reasons", and that he was expected to be given the all-clear from doctors shortly. Wilder hasn't worked a match since the comedic 'Miracle On 34th Street Fight' gimmick against Heavy Machinery on the 20 December episode of SmackDown.

It's somewhat strange that nobody knows what sure exactly what's wrong with Dash. He didn't appear to suffer an injury during that aforementioned scuffle with Otis and Tucker.
