Logan Paul's budding rivalry with Ricochet looks set to continue following the events of WWE Money in the Bank 2023 and this week's Raw.

Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Radio that rather than going for a "marquee match" with Logan next, WWE may the reality star "to do an incredible athletic match." This makes the high-flying Ricochet an ideal opponent.

WWE ended up airing a backstage brawl between the duo on this week's Raw, which was presented as exclusive footage from Money in the Bank. This was done as a make-good for their Money in the Bank spot gone wrong.

Ricochet and Paul were both in the titular men's MITB ladder match on 1 July. At one point, the duo had intended to leap from a ladder, and springboard off the ropes, with Ricochet driving the duo through a set of tables on the outside with a Spanish Fly. He and Paul ended up losing their balance, though they were able to regain their balance in an impressive adjustment, hitting the Spanish Fly anyway.

Meltzer states that WWE felt this spot "wasn't as smooth to lead to the match." As a result, WWE ran the brawl angle.
