The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Naomi's self-imposed WWE exile will come to an end imminently.

Bryan Alvarez told fans tuning into Wrestling Observer Live that natural speculation about Naomi following Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone to New Japan could finally be put to bed. Naomi won't be heading to NJPW (despite being in attendance for Wrestle Kingdom 17 to support her friend) - instead, she'll be returning to WWE TV in the near future.

So, when can you expect to see Naomi back on Raw or SmackDown? WWE's build towards the Royal Rumble 2023 pay-per-view on 28 January has already started, and there's a big chance Naomi will become a part of that hype soon. Or, perhaps Triple H will keep her back as a surprise comeback entrant in the 30-woman match in San Antonio.

It's unlikely Naomi would want to miss out on the lucrative WrestleMania season though, so the Rumble seems like a safe bet for her return. Alvarez did note that she'd been busy negotiating a new contract with WWE chiefs over the past few months.

Look out for Naomi on TV very, very soon.
