PWInsider are reporting that WWE fully expect to run at least one supershow in Saudi Arabia before the end of 2021.

No date has been locked in quite yet, but the country recently eased some COVID-19 restrictions in late-May, and the Saudi government is more open to running concerts and sporting events than they were before. This could mean that Crown Jewel or Super ShowDown will happen soon.

Twitter page @WrestlinClub, an account based in the Middle East that charts WWE's history and events in Saudi, also speculated that the next show would happen in November. It said that WWE had already come to an agreement with the Saudi General Sport Authority’s Ministry of Sport.

Interesting.

This would be WWE's first jaunt to Saudi Arabia since Super ShowDown in February 2020. The company didn't get to run another event in the country that year due to the start of the global pandemic in March - now, it seems, both sides are keen to get stuck back in and continue their Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.

More news will likely break soon on this one. November (if that will be the date) is just over four months away, after all.
