Shawn Michaels' onscreen rivalry with Grayson Waller on WWE NXT could be paid off through the introduction of incoming star Dragon Lee.

WRKD Wrestling reports that the idea of Michaels having Lee wrestle Waller as a means of introducing the newcomer has at least been discussed by WWE. This account has previously been on the money with Lita's recent return to company television, so the chatter is worth paying attention to.

Dragon Lee announced that he was signing with WWE back on 28 December. It was reported a few weeks later, however, that the former AAA and NJPW star was dealing with visa issues, hence why he hadn't arrived on television yet. WWE plans on assigning the high-flyer to NXT - and had eyes on bringing him in for this month's Vengeance Day event.

Waller and NXT figurehead Michaels have been beefing onscreen for several weeks now, with Waller blaming the 'Heart Break Kid' for recent misfortunes between the ropes. This had led to speculation on Shawn potentially breaking his retirement for a clash with Waller.

An in-ring segment featuring Waller and Michaels has been announced for next week's NXT show.
