With her husband Sammy Guevara having recently resurfaced in Ring of Honor, it appears that Tay Melo is another long-absent AEW star due to make their imminent return.

As per PWInsider, the word doing the rounds at Saturday's set of AEW tapings from Arlington, Texas' Esports Stadium was that Tay would be returning to action soon, with some in the company believing that she might be back on TV as soon as this week's AEW Dynamite.

This news comes hot on the heels of Tay taking to social media to showcase how she's been training for a return to the ring, with her most recent match being a March 2023 tag match - teaming with Sammy Guevara - for Northeast Wrestling out of Connecticut. In terms of AEW, Melo last competed for Tony Khan's promotion on a January 2023 Rampage, teaming with Anny Jay in a losing effort against Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho.

Of course, during her time away, Tay Melo gave birth to her and Sammy's first child, although prior to that she was initially out of action with a back injury.

Whether Tay's return does indeed take place on tonight's Dynamite or not, it appears it's only a matter of time before she'll back on our screens.
