Danhausen will make his long-awaited in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling on tonight's episode of Dynamite, facing Tony Nese.

Nese laid down the challenge on last week's episode of Rampage. The former WWE man, who has had issues with Danhausen rival Hook during Taz's son's rise to prominence, claimed that he was "the hottest free agent signing in AEW history" and sick of being overlooked in favour of the very nice, very evil cult favourite, who is yet to lace up his boots.

AEW president and founder Tony Khan made the match official on Tuesday, tweeting the following:-

Danhausen suggested that Hook corner him against Nese during Rampage, though his efforts were rebuffed. Even presenting Hook with a gift-wrapped packet of chips wasn't enough to cement the alliance. Recent teases suggest that the popular duo will eventually link up, however.

AEW signed Danhausen in January, with the independent star initially joining the Best Friends crew. The 31-year-old was recovering from a broken leg suffered in October 2021 when he signed on. Recently, he made his in-ring return through indie group Glory Pro, working Live At The Pageant on 24 April.
