Long-Missing AEW Star FINALLY Close To Return

AEW talent working on comeback after LONG absence.

Marq Quen is finally working towards an AEW return following a long injury absence, reports Fightful Select.

The outlet notes that following close to a full calendar year on the sidelines, Quen was recently backstage in AEW, with the promotion hopeful that he will be able to get back to wrestling sooner rather than later.

The Private Party man has been out of action with a shoulder injury. Quen was wearing a sling for a while, and hasn't worked since AEW's 30 November Rampage tapings, where he and partner Isiah Kassidy were defeated by Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. Although Kassidy has been aligned with the Hardys as Brother Zay in Quen's absence, he hasn't been particularly active himself, working only 10 televised AEW bouts since Marq got hurt.

Fightful notes that there is no word on whether or not creative plans exist for Quen's return. The outlet pointed out that Thunder Rosa is currently in a situation where she has been cleared following a long injury absence, but remains off television due to a lack of plans.

Private Party have been with AEW since year one, having been signed in 2019.
