Lucha Underground's Ultima Lucha (July 29): Results And Reactions

Results: Catrina comes out with the Disciples of Death -- who are wearing new multi-color masks -- to take on the Trios champions: Son of Havoc, Ivelisse, and Angelico. Ivelisse is still on crutches for this match. All six wrestlers start fighting with the champs at a distinct disadvantage due to her injury. Son of Havoc and Angelico take to the air to even the score. Ivelisse is biting and slapping her way through the match, and at one point is put in a leg submission, but is saved by Son of Havoc. Chaos spills to the outside of the ring when Angelico leaps off Cueto's office all the way to the floor!

 Everyone is down, and Catrina gets in the ring to bring power back to her fighters by raising the stone. Ivelisse gets face to face with Catrina, arm drag by Ivelisse, gets a full mount position and starts whaling away on Catrina's face. Catrina reverses, and hits Ivelisse with the stone which allows a Disciple to come in and get the easy 1-2-3. Catrina follows up with a lick of death on Ivelisse.

Reaction: Not the best trios match I've seen. It's tough with Ivelisse's injury as things end up being much more chaotic to keep the pace going. At one point, she is put in a leg lock, but it was her good leg, why not target the bad one? Angelico's jump looked like he came up a touch short, tough to say with the weird camera angle. At any rate, it was an absolutely insane spot to add to his resume. Catrina's stable is quickly gaining power with this win.
