Luke Harper Possibly Out Six Months With Knee Injury
The Wyatt Family will be short one member for a significant amount of time.
Mike Johnson of PWinsider reports that word circulating backstage at the WWE live event at Madison Square Garden this weekend suggests Luke Harper's injury lay-off could be lengthy. Apparently the knee-injury is deemed far more severe than initially feared and it's now looking like he'll be out of action for up to six months. The injury occurred during a dark match at this past Monday's Raw in Philadelphia after the show went off the air. The bout was an eight-man tag featuring all four members of The Wyatt Family against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayn. After landing awkwardly, Harper tagged out of the bout and spent the rest of the match lying outside the ring being attended to. WWE has yet to make any kind of official statement acknowledging the injury, which of course couldn't come at a worse possible time for the talented performer as it would take him off the cards for both WrestleMania and possibly SummerSlam. It's also another in a shockingly long line of injured stars that WWE now has to contend with and try and work around.
