Major AEW All In Match Reportedly SET

And no: it isn't Kenny Omega Vs. Will Ospreay III...

Don Callis
AEW

While this week's edition of AEW Dynamite was criticised in some circles for not firming up the direction for All In - the biggest show in the history of the promotion - a firm direction does indeed exist.

That is according to the reputable Fightful Select, who have learned from NJPW sources that "the plan relayed to them" for an upper midcard attraction is Chris Jericho Vs. Will Ospreay - and that Don Callis is set to be involved in some capacity.

This is intriguing, since AEW booker Tony Khan is teasing an alliance between Jericho and Callis on Dynamite currently. Callis also helped Ospreay to defeat Kenny Omega at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door following another insidious recruitment campaign. Ospreay's body language in that match suggested he was happy enough to receive the screwdriver - he picked it up with an opportunistic "might as well" shrug - without explicitly aligning with Callis.

Perhaps Ospreay will spurn an offer to join the teased Don Callis 'Family' and play babyface in his home nation instead. This report effectively rules out the fan-driven rumours of Ospreay Vs. Omega III at All In, which is scheduled for Sunday, August 27.
