In some unfortunate news, AEW's Eddie Kingston is currently dealing with COVID-19.

The Mad King took to Twitter to reveal this news, with him having to miss this weekend's NJPW Strong tapings as a result. There, as part of tonight's Strong: Autumn Action tapings, Kingston was scheduled to team with Homicide and Wheeler Yuta to take on Jay White and the Good Brothers.

Of course, Kingston is hot on the heels of another match with New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Tomohiro Ishii. Eddie picked up a win over the Stone Pitbull at last weekend's Zero Hour pre-show for All Out. Prior to that, the New Yorker had served a two-week AEW suspension due to a backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara.

Eddie has been with AEW since mid-2020, with him make his company debut to challenge for the TNT Championship then held by Cody Rhodes. Since then, the former CZW Heavyweight Champion has continued to go from strength to strength and has become a pivotal part of AEW programming.

Once described as the Swiss Army Knife of WhatCulture, Andrew can usually be found writing, editing, or presenting on a wide range of topics.
