Major AEW Star Says He 'Doesn't Want The Spotlight'

This top AEW wrestler would be happy to work matches on Dark and Dark: Elevation.

Bryan Danielson has suggested that he'd be happy wrestling on lower-tier AEW programming like Dark or Dark: Elevation. In fact, according to comments Bryan made during a chat with 'One Fall', the celebrated technician might even prefer that at this point in his illustrious career.

By Danielson's own admission though, Tony Khan is paying him "too much money" for that.

The former WWE World Champ told the podcast that "service" is his "main job" in pro wrestling these days - working with younger wrestlers is actually what gives Bryan "the most joy", so he wouldn't blink if Khan told him he'd be on YouTube exclusively rather than flagships like Dynamite or secondary shows like Rampage.

Danielson just wants to wrestle for as long as he possibly can.

The 41 year old knows he can't go on forever, but he's determined to "help people achieve their dreams" before he hangs up the boots for good. That's a classy statement, but perhaps an expected one from someone who seems like a well-rounded human being (on top of being a top, top wrestler).

Don't go looking for Bry on Dark though. Tony Khan probs won't let that happen!
