Major AEW Star To Get New Entrance Theme At Forbidden Door

This hugely popular AEW talent looks set to debut a new entrance tune at tonight's PPV.

It looks as if Orange Cassidy is going to be getting a new (well, old) entrance theme when he makes his way to the ring to face Will Ospreay at tonight's AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Via Fightful Select, Freshly Squeezed will be ditching Pixies' Where Is My Mind? in favour of Jefferson Starship's Jane.

For those unfamiliar with Cassidy prior to him signing with AEW, Jane is the entrance song the star used on the independent scene.

While Fightful doesn't mention whether Jane will be brought back for Forbidden Door, a tweet from OC suggests that we may hear the 1979 song in all its glory tonight. Taking to Twitter, Cassidy teased that he'll be getting "something new" for his match-up against Ospreay.

Fightful adds how AEW has secured the licensing for Jane, with Tony Khan having unsuccessfully tried to reach out to Jefferson Starship previously. As such, the decision was then made to go with Where Is My Mind? for Orange Cassidy, although Khan and AEW have now finally managed to land Jane for one of the company's most popular stars.
