Tom Phillips looks set to replace Vic Joseph as WWE Raw's lead announcer.

This is according to WrestleVotes, who tweeted the following in the small hours of this morning:-

There's currently no word on when the shakeup will go down or what may have motivated it, and it should be pointed out that WWE hasn't confirmed anything either.

If true, this would mean Joseph's stint as Raw's play-by-play guy ending after less than four months. He took Michael Cole's old spot in the booth when WWE's most trusted announcer moved to SmackDown as the FOX TV deal kicked in in October, with Joseph forming a new team alongside Dio Maddin and Jerry 'The King' Lawler. Maddin was removed from his position a while ago. Lawler, however, remains.

Phillips was almost lost in the announcer reshuffle back in October but quickly found a home on NXT UK. Now, he looks set to graduate from one of WWE's most neglected brands to its former flagship, having previously sat as SmackDown's play-by-play announcer.

As for Joseph, who knows where he'll end up next, though he did a solid job throughout his time on Monday Night Raw.
