Major Change Made To Upcoming WWE Title Match

Plus an updated WWE Day 1 card after last night's Raw...

WWE's next pay-per-view, Day 1, goes down on 1 January 2022, and last night's episode of Raw brought a couple of new things to the card.

The most notable of these is Bobby Lashley's addition to the exiting WWE Championship match between title-holder Big E, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins, making it a Fatal Four-Way. This came after authority figures Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce told Lashley that if he could defeat his prospective pay-per-view opponents, he would be added to the match.

And he did. Owens fell first, taking the L in little over four minutes. KO then interfered to give Rollins a disqualification victory over Lashley later on, though it was soon turned into a No DQ bout, which Bobby won in 7 seconds. Finally, Lashley defeated Big E after heavy interference in the main event, punching his ticket.

The pay-per-view lineup was also bolstered by the addition of a Raw Women's Title rematch.
