Major Spoiler For NXT Roadblock (NXT News)

Latest TNA TV tapings see a huge NXT Roadblock match set.

NXT Oba Femi Moose

As the title suggests, spoilers lie ahead for next month's NXT Roadblock, particularly when it comes to the ongoing relationship between WWE and TNA.

From Jacob Cohen and Fightful, not just will Roadblock see NXT Champion Oba Femi take on TNA X Division Champion Moose, but that match will see both men put their respective titles on the line in a winner-takes-all Title vs. Title bout.

This comes from this weekend's round of TNA TV tapings, which coincidentally took place from NXT's old stomping ground of Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.

At those tapings, those in attendance got to see a segment where Oba Femi made an appearance, only to be interrupted and attacked by Moose and his System faction. This beatdown concluded with Moose holding both the NXT Championship and TNA X Division Championship over his head, with a double title match between the two then confirmed for Roadblock.

In other NXT-TNA developments, these tapings also saw Cora Jade confront TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich, which led to Tessa Blanchard attacking Masha from behind, and Lei Ying Lee - the former Xia Li - making the safe. That in turn set up a tag match pitting Cora and Tessa against Masha and Lei.

The NXT-TNA Relationship

Away from Oba Femi vs. Moose and Cora Jade on a collision course with Masha Slamovich, the working relationship between NXT and TNA will also see the legendary Hardys heading to NXT this Tuesday. There, Matt and Jeff will take on No Quarter Catch Crew's Myles Borne and Tavion Heights.

This next NXT outing will also see Moose making his in-ring bow for the brand, with the Wrestling God facing Lexis King in a match that plays into King recently defeating Moose's System stablemate JDC. Of course, Moose vs. King is also a smart way to introduce the three-time World Champion to those NXT and WWE fans who may not be too familiar with the former NFL star.

With the NXT and TNA affiliation in full swing these days, recent months have seen the likes of Joe Hendry, Masha Slamovich, Frankie Kazarian, Rosemary, and the Rascalz as just some of those other TNA names to cross the line, whilst Wes Lee, Gallus, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, Riley Osborne, and Charlie Dempsey and his NQCC group are amongst those NXT names to pop up in TNA.

Of course, Jordynne Grace has been a flag-bearer for this working relationship, making a shock appearance at the 2024 Royal Rumble, making several subsequent appearances in NXT, and then appearing at this year's Rumble after formally signing with WWE. The Juggernaut has just started what's expected to be a short run in NXT before then moving to Raw or SmackDown in relatively quick fashion - Grace having penned a multi-year main roster deal with WWE.

Emanating from New York City's The Theater at Madison Square Garden, NXT Roadblock takes place on Tuesday 11 March.
