Major Spoilers On WWE's Plans For Adam Cole & Undisputed Era

Here's what WWE has planned for NXT's signature stable.

One of professional wrestling's most beloved stables appears to be coming to an end, according to a new report from PWInsider stating that Adam Cole is transitioning into a babyface role to start a potential split in NXT's Undisputed Era.

WWE began Cole's transition from heel to face after losing an NXT Championship match with Finn Balor on 9 September. Prior to that, the former champion's feud with the gloriously obnoxious Pat McAfee saw him inevitably show face-like qualities, though the turn didn't officially commence until a few weeks later.

Cole's movement along the alignment scale continued with last night's match against Austin Theory. 'The Panama City Playboy' played a more sympathetic role than usual, overcoming Theory via Last Shot.

Kyle O'Reilly, who challenges Balor at TakeOver 31 this weekend, is reportedly turning babyface with Cole. Cole endorsed him heavily after beating Theory, saying KOR will shock the world on Sunday.

It is stated that Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong will not be turning with their allies, hence the split. There's no word on how, exactly, WWE will pull the separation off, though splitting a group that has controlled NXT for more than three years will change the brand's dynamic completely.
