Major Star Injured On Last Night's WWE Raw

This major WWE favourite could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

Liv Morgan

While last night's WWE Raw saw Raquel Rodriguez kayfabe injured at the hands - well, foot - of Rhea Ripley, it appears Raquel's tag team partner Liv Morgan suffered a legitimate injury on this most recent outing for WWE's red brand.

As per WrestlingNews.co, Liv was tended to by trainers off-camera at last night's Raw, and the one-time SmackDown Women's Champion was seen leaving Atlanta's State Farm Arena with a sling on.

There are no further details on the specifics of this injury or on how serious this situation is for Morgan. Of course, the 29-year-old New Jersey native only returned to action in June after six weeks out with what Liv described as a "torn shoulder".

For those who missed this week's Raw, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez lost the Women's Tag Team Titles to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green. Prior to the match, a backstage promo from Morgan and Rodriguez saw them confronted by Rhea Ripley. The Eradicator of the Judgment Day would waste no time in dropping Liv with a headbutt, before then putting the boots to Raquel's knee after an initial brawl between the two.

The story of the Women's Tag Team Title match last night was Rodriguez attempting to battle through injury, but in reality, it looks as if Liv Morgan unfortunately suffered a very real injury setback.
