Bobby Lashley returned to WWE television for the first time in months on last night's episode of SmackDown, and it looks like the ex-Hurt Business leader could be set to form a new faction.

The former WWE Champion was shown arriving in a limo before meeting with The Street Profits then leaving with both Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford. Their TV time was brief, but it did tease either a revamped Hurt Business idea or something totally fresh.

It looks like Lashley and The Profits will be aligned on the blue brand soon either way.

2023 has been a strange year for Bobby. He started the year by resuming his beef with Brock Lesnar, then won WWE's Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal shortly before WrestleMania 39. Lashley was then supposed to clash with Bray Wyatt on the bumper 'Mania weekend, but those plans were scrapped and both vanished from screens.

Wyatt still isn't back, but Bob returned on SmackDown to kick off something else. Heading up a rejigged Hurt Business could be the best thing for him, and it might help The Profits bounce back too.
