Ricky Starks and Big Bill are your new AEW Tag Team Champions.

Last night's AEW Collision saw Starks and Bill defeat FTR to bring an end to Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler's second reign with the AEW Tag Team Titles at 180 days.

A somewhat surprising result, this win came in less than five minutes, with Absolute pinning Dax after a spear. It's worth noting that Cash was taken out of the match after being put through the announce desk by Bill, leaving Harwood to essentially battle two opponents on his own.

Since defeating the Gunns for the AEW Tag Team Titles back in April, Harwood and Wheeler had successfully defended those belts against the likes of the Young Bucks, Aussie Open, and the tandem of MJF and Adam Cole. With the Bucks having recently earned themselves another shot at those titles, many presumed that FTR would be keeping hold of the gold at least until another rematch with Matt and Nick Jackson.

Interestingly, Fightful Select notes that there has been speculation that Cash Wheeler is actually injured - although the outlet could not outright confirm that.
