Major Title Match Set For AEW Double Or Nothing 2022
Here's what was added to the AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 card on last night's Dynamite.
Serena Deeb will challenge for Thunder Rosa's AEW Women's World Championship at Double Or Nothing 2022.
The match was confirmed on last night's episode of Dynamite. Deeb, who recently ascended to number one in AEW's women's division rankings, was called out by Rosa, who said Serena once inspired her to become the best version of herself. Initially respectful, Deeb then stated that holding the Women's Title merely suggested that Rosa was the division's best in class. For AEW's scene to truly ascend, that strap needs to be around the waist of its best wrestler - herself.
Deeb vs. Rosa was then set for Double Or Nothing, which takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday 29 May.
This will be Rosa's second defence since taking the title from Britt Baker on 16 March, having defeated former champion Nyla Rose at Battle Of The Belts II on 15 April.
Here's how the Double Or Nothing 2022 lineup looked at the time of writing:-
AEW World Championship: 'Hangman' Adam Page (c) vs. CM Punk
AEW Women's World Championship: Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Serena Deeb
