All promotional material for AEW's upcoming video game, Fight Forever, has been finished, with filming, editing, and updates all in the bag, seemingly nudging the project closer to a release date.

This is per a new report from Insider Gaming, which notes that with the promotional material in the can, AEW: Fight Forever's release is now a waiting game. The promotional team has indicated that they are yet to be informed when the game's advertising campaign will begin on AEW television, however.

Insider Gaming adds that from a developmental standpoint, AEW: Fight Forever is effectively complete. Ongoing bug fixes and updates are all left to do, though this process will continue up to and beyond the launch period.

Officially announced in November 2020, AEW: Fight Forever is being developed in conjunction with Hideyuki 'Geta' Iwashita, director of the acclaimed WWF No Mercy and WCW/nWo Revenuge games. Though an official teaser for the project was released n August 2022, AEW has never indicated when the game itself will come out.

AEW: Fight Forever is due for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
