With an AEW World Championship shot on the imminent horizon for him at All In, there's now somewhat of an update on the status of Bryan Danielson.

As per Fightful Select, Daneilson's recent comments about Doc Sampson not wanting him to wrestle until All In are a legitimate shoot. Bryan is indeed banged up and has had some heavy restrictions put in place by AEW doctors in terms of what he can and can't do in the lead to All In next month.

This report notes that it has long been the plan for Danielson to headline All In for the AEW World Title, although the American Dragon has been prevented from being a part of certain things that were originally planned as part of the road to that Wembley Stadium PPV.

For those wondering about Bryan's contract status, his existing AEW deal expires on 1 August - as in, in just a couple of days - but there is very much an active plan for the Washington native to work further dates for the promotion, such as All In. As previously stated by the talent himself, Danielson is in the final run of his full-time in-ring career, with him then to operate on a part-time, limited basis.
