Major Update On Keith Lee's Continued WWE Absence

Just why has Keith Lee been missing from WWE TV for well over a month?

With recent WWE programming having a very noticeable Keith Lee-shaped hole, now comes a major update on what’s going on with Limitless right now.

Via Fightful Select, Lee is out of action due to health reasons. Rather than simply being a case of ‘creative has nothing for you’, WWE has not been able to clear the former NXT Champion for in-ring competition.

Lee hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since before last month’s Elimination Chamber PPV – where he was reportedly due to win the United States Championship from Bobby Lashley – and has since undergone tests in an attempt to get cleared to return to the squared circle.

There’s no word at this stage on the specifics that are keeping Keith on the shelf, but here’s hoping that it’s a swift and full recovery for the hugely charismatic star. Many are taking the below tweet as Lee's way of addressing this situation.

With WrestleMania 37 looming large on the horizon – 10-11 April, to be precise – one would have to imagine that it’s highly doubtful that we see Keith Lee at this year’s Showcase of the Immortals. Hopefully the athletic powerhouse is back in a wrestling ring sooner rather than later, though.
