Will Ospreay's future will be one of the biggest questions professional wrestling needs to answer over the coming months, as the international star continues making major moves ahead of becoming a free agent in February.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion has hired Barry Bloom to represent him ahead of February, which is when his current NJPW contract expires.

This is a particularly significant move as Bloom has represented some of wrestling's biggest names throughout his career. These include current AEW stars Chris Jericho, the Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega, as well as legendary figures like Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.

Ospreay has previously claimed that he will field offers when his New Japan contract expires. Now, it appears he is positioning himself to land the best contract possible.

Fightful Select reports that Ospreay believes his next deal will be the most important of his career. As a result, his decision is likely to be "heavily financially motivated", with market leaders WWE and AEW made aware of Will hiring Bloom back in August.

Ospreay, 30, can count NJPW, AEW, IMPACT Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and RevPro amongst the companies he has worked for in 2023.
