This wrestler "wasn't a big fan" of WWE's designated name until fairly recently.

Alexa Bliss has admitted that she "didn't like" her ring name when WWE officials first broached the subject.

The Raw star told News18 that an unnamed coach also suggested that she look to change the moniker as soon as possible - he was especially keen to stress that Bliss would probably be handed a brand new name by management when she reached the main roster anyway.

Alexa says the name has since "grown on me" as the years have rolled on. She's comfortable with it now, and thinks fans feel the same way. It'd be rather strange to switch things up this deep into her career, and that's not on the cards in 2022.

Bliss is even able to have a bit of a laugh with the name - she said that the branding "makes for a lot of good dad jokes, which is great".

It'd be risky to try on a totally different name at this point. Alexa has been a staple on Raw and/or SmackDown since jumping up from NXT in 2016, and she's one of the most well-known female workers on the roster.
