Attention, wrestling fans: Please enjoy Edge whilst you still can.

The legend hasn't worked a match since losing his 'I Quit' bout to Finn Bálor back at Extreme Rules on 8 October. During a chat with the 'Leafs Morning Take' podcast, Edge also revealed that in-ring retirement is closer than ever before.

In fact, the 'Rated-R Superstar' is openly talking about working one more match in his hometown of Toronto before hanging up the boots again. The difference is that retirement would be on Edge's terms this time - that certainly wasn't the case back in 2011 when serious injuries forced him out of the ring.

Edge revealed that he never planned on winning championships when he returned to action at the 2020 Royal Rumble. His main goal was to "have fun, and try to help teach a new generation of talent that [he] never got [his] hands on before".

Satisfied, the Hall Of Famer knows he doesn't have much time left as an active talent. That'll be sad news to anybody who hoped that Edge might get one more World Title reign before calling it a day.
