One of the United Kingdom's best homegrown talents is going be making an even larger mark on the U.S. market soon, as "The Villain" Marty Scurll will be debuting for Ring of Honor.

The announcement came during ROH's video update on Monday afternoon, when Scurll interrupted and promised to appear in the company at an unspecified point in the near future.

Scurll, the current PROGRESS Wrestling Champion, is making a huge splash worldwide after the false start that was his brief TNA run a few years ago. The talented star has been working regularly for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and EVOLVE, reaching the semifinals of the 2015 Battle of Los Angeles tournament (he's been announced for the 2016 BOLA next month) and challenging Timothy Thatcher for the EVOLVE Championship.

Though no arrival date for Scurll was announced, it would make sense to debut him at "Reach for the Sky," Ring of Honor's upcoming U.K. tour. The tour - which will be comprised of three November shows in Liverpool, Leicester, and London - will also see the ROH debut of New Japan star, reigning Best of the Super Juniors winner, and former PROGRESS Champion Will Ospreay.

Meanwhile... if you're in Newcastle.... don't forget that there's still a chance to secure last minute tickets to see Marty Scurll vs. Will Ospreay on August 24th at the WCPW tapings. Both stars will also appear the next night.
