Maryse told People during an exclusive interview that she's suffering from sleep deprivation after giving birth to her second child (Madison Jade Mizanin, born 20 September 2019).

Her husband The Miz is out on the road with WWE a lot, and that leaves Maryse at home juggling her motherly duties with her own health. The situation is one that leaves her with "mom guilt", which Maryse says not enough mothers openly talk about.

When she does have an hour or two to herself, Maryse finds herself feeling guilty for leaving the house, because she knows her babies will miss her. This is wearying mentally, and it doesn't help that there's a near-two year age different between her girls.

That means one is normally awake when the other is sleeping, and doesn't leave much shut eye for Maryse.

Sleep deprivation is something she's taking very seriously, and told the website, "I didn’t think it could kill you, but I think it can". She was quick to point out that being a mother is something she loves, so it's not all bad. Maybe news that WWE will soon give superstars more time off will buy Miz some time at home and Maryse some time to properly sleep.
