Matt Cardona Injured At IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion 2021?
Matt Cardona shares an injury update after wrestling Brian Myers last night.

Matt Cardona may have suffered a knee injury while wrestling former tag team partner Brian Myers at IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion 2021 last night.
Cardona was going for his Radio Silence finisher on Myers late into the bout. He swung, missed, and hit the canvas awkwardly, his right knee folding in on itself as he landed.
This prompted intervention from the referee and a team of medics. Myers then aided Cardona up in an apparent act of sportsmanship, only to clobber him with a lariat and take the victory. Matt continued selling the knee after the bell.
FITE TV tweeted about the potential injury during the show:-

Cardona, meanwhile, has offered the following update, suggesting he suffered a dislocated kneecap:-
Hopefully not as bad as it felt. Knee cap is back in place. Thanks guys.

There's currently no word on whether or not the injury was legitimate. That FITE were tweeting about Myers taking advantage of a "serious injury" to take the win raises suspicions, though it's hard to tell at the moment.
Cardona has been with IMPACT Wrestling since January, when he debuted opposite Ace Austin at Hard To Kill 2021. He has since found a regular role in the promotion, spending much of his time feuding with Myers.
