Matt Hardy Gives Update On His Health On AEW Dynamite

Here's how Hardy is holding up about THAT bump...

Good news: Matt Hardy is going to be fine.

Hardy took a horrible bump at AEW All Out 2020, with his head appearing to strike the concrete as he and Sammy Guevara fell from a ladder to the ground below, overshooting considerably. The tag wrestling legend appeared on last night's Dynamite to give an update on his condition.

Overwhelmed by the volume of love and support he had received after the scare, Hardy said that while he may be one of the dumbest men alive, he's also one of the luckiest. His wife, Reby, was in the crowd with their son Bartie, and Matt apologised for what happened, saying he was glad the feud with Guevara was over.

Hardy stated that his doctors had told him he was going to make a 100% recovery. When he gets cleared, he's going to make a run up the rankings and challenge for a championship.

A relieving, well-delivered babyface promo here. AEW came in for justified criticism for their handling of Hardy's suspected concussion, with the fallen man allowed to continue the Guevara match and scale scaffolding just minutes later. The bout was stopped, but only briefly.
