His WWE career could have been totally different had Vince McMahon not intervened...

As if the family tree of Paul Bearer, The Undertaker and Kane needed any more moving parts. The overblown backstory WWE had come up with for the trio was almost muddied more by the addition of Matt Morgan as another brother in 2005. You read that right.

It came close to happening before Vince McMahon stepped in. Morgan said during an interview with Wrestling Inc that he was set to be put under a mask (one almost identical to the 'Big Red Machine') and start working similarly to Kane inside the ring. From there, obvious comparisons would be made and Morgan would later be revealed as another sibling to the 'Brothers Of Destruction'.

Naturally, Matt was pumped up about the chance, because it would have meant working with heroes. That's when McMahon made the sudden call to give Morgan a stuttering gimmick instead.

Talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse, this was a real departure from what Matt had been teased with. According to Morgan, he would have taken the name 'Abel' as a play on the age-old biblical story of 'Cain and Abel'.
