Japanese wrestler Meiko Satomura will arrive in the United Kingdom to wrestle for WWE's NXT UK brand in November, according to a new report from Tokyo Sports.

Per the writeup, it is expected that Satomura will work a player/coach role for WWE's British imprint, having announced her decision to move into a limited role within the Sendai Girls promotion she owns and operates in Japan. The 40-year-old did not provide a reason, though she stated a desire to advance to a "new stage" in her career.

"There is no such story at the moment," said Satomura of the NXT UK link, though it should be noted that WWE often ask incoming talent to deny such things before they are officially announced. Currently there is no word on whether Satomura would be signing a full-time WWE deal or guesting.

Satomura first appeared for WWE in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, where she was defeated by Toni Storm in the semi-finals. She has maintained a link with the promotion since then and was reported to be a key figure in the pitched NXT Japan expansion last year, though that project is currently on ice.
