Melina Denies Reports Of WWE Return
But...that doesn't mean it's not a possibility...
Former WWE Women's Champion Melina has denied recent reports that she is returning to WWE in the near future.
Posting on Facebook, the star revealed that the rumours about her impending return to Vince McMahon's company doing the rounds online made her 'heart ache' because she 'loves (her) fans so much'.
Although she confirmed in this post that she had 'NOT' signed with WWE at this time, she did hint at the possibility of signing on the dotted line for them 'when the time is right'.
Melina stated in her post:
'I AM NOT signed with the WWE. But that doesn’t mean it is not a possibility. My reason for this post is that it bothers me that these sites lie to fans. If I potentially get signed, don’t forgive them for lying to you. I know there are those that aren’t a fan of mine, but I still will care about them as I do my own fans. I don’t like when people lie to you and/or bring your hopes up. You deserve better than that. YOU should demand better than that. They think it’s ok to pull these stunts because you’ll still follow or click that link. You should follow sites that don’t treat you like you’re stupid and do not lie to you. It seems like a lot of wrestling news sites do that though.'

Though Melina has made the odd one-off appearance for WWE over the last few years, such as a cameo on last year's Raw Reunion show, the former MNM member hasn't been a full-time performer for the company in almost a decade.
There's still a good chance the star could return to WWE in the next week or so, and this could just be a way of throwing the fans off before her eventual big reveal. But, as of writing, it seems like Melina hasn't officially agreed to come back to a place she calls 'home'.
