Mercedes Martinez KNOCKED OUT On WWE NXT?
Did a stiff Xia Li kick knock Mercedes Martinez out on WWE NXT?
Mercedes Martinez was taken to the hospital following last night's episode of WWE NXT, on which she may have been knocked out while teaming with Jake Atlas to face Tian Sha's Xia Li and Boa.
As seen in the GIF below, Mercedes took a sore one from Li, who blasted the veteran with a roundhouse kick. Martinez immediately slumped forward and fell straight to the mat on impact, landing face-first:-

A nasty, nasty bump for sure, leading to speculation that she may have been knocked out.
Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has since confirmed that after being checked out in the backstage area, Martinez was sent to the hospital:-

Tian Sha defeated Atlas and Martinez last night, compounding Mercedes' recent bad luck against the stable. The former Mae Young Classic competitor also lost a singles match to Li at TakeOver: In Your House 2021 earlier this month.
A wrestler for over 20 years, Martinez didn't sign with WWE until January 2020, having previously stood out for the company in the 2017 and 2018 MYC tournaments.
