Mercedes Mone Pitches Two HUGE WWE > AEW Jumps
The AEW star knew exactly what she was doing when teasing a WWE star "and her husband".
Mercedes Mone seemed to imply that she wants both Natalya and Tyson Kidd/TJ Wilson to jump from WWE > AEW as soon as possible during an interview with Maggie & Perloff, but it's possible she was talking about another WWE name "and her husband".
The reigning AEW TBS Champ told interviewers that she's "heard little rumours of a certain girl that I really, really love", but didn't want to say too much incase WWE tied them down. Many fans on socials believe Mone is talking about Nattie and TJ, but others reckon Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins should also be in the conversation.
That can't happen - Rollins inked a sizeable multi-year extension with WWE in May, and Becky herself hasn't intimated that she'd like to leave the company.
It is also possible that Mercedes was toying with the media and referring to another couple, but it's the "...and her husband" line that has folks buzzing.
This is definitely something to keep an eye on. Natalya has since removed all WWE references from her social accounts, and it's believed she's yet to agree another deal with the market leader.
