The Wrestling Observer has picked up on hints that Mercedes Moné could be set for an imminent return to AEW TV sooner rather than later. The former belt collecting champion hasn't been seen on All Elite programming since appearing on the 10 January Collision via a pre-taped vignette.

That was a response to Mercedes having cake shoved right in her face by Willow Nightingale on the prior week's episode of Dynamite. During the Collision promo, Moné hinted that she'd be looking for more than just titles upon her return, and it seems that comeback is on the cards soon.

A fan on X posted clips of Mercedes being interviewed for Italian TV station IL61. During a segment called Wrestling Time, Moné was asked to give a message to fans wondering when she'll be back in the mix. Her response? "I’m returning really, really soon - but right now, I am on my Moné Madness tour all over Europe. First, it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, mama is gonna return home".

Just as well she didn't call herself 'Mami' or Rhea Ripley would have words!

Seriously though, it's the Winnipeg portion of her remark that wrestling fans should pay attention to. The 1 April edition of Dynamite takes place in the Canadian city, so it seems there's a solid chance that Mercedes will make a splash there and get the ball rolling on her first AEW work in a couple of months.
