If you were wondering why Mia Yim hasn't wrestled for WWE since December 2020, it isn't because she is hurt.

The former RETRIBUTION tweeted as much on Sunday (19 September):-

Yim's last WWE match was a defeat to Nikki Cross on Main Event's 31 December 2020 episode, though she remained onscreen alongside her RETRIBUTION stablemates until the group's dissolution at Fastlane 2021 (21 March).

Quietly moved from Raw to SmackDown in April, with her ring name changed back to its original form, Yim had plans for a blue brand debut opposite Carmella scrapped the following month. Further updates on her WWE status have not been forthcoming.

A veteran of both IMPACT Wrestling and the independent scene, Yim has been with WWE since signing in September 2018. She had competed in both the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classic tournaments prior to that and quickly became a fixture on NXT, feuding with the likes of Bianca Belair, eventually working her way towards NXT Women's Title contention.

Unable to claim the strap from Shayna Baszler, Mia was with NXT until mid-2020. She transitioned to the main roster to join RETRIBUTION as Reckoning that September.
